Looking for info in regards to SRAM FORCE 2013.

I am in the middle of converting my PLANET-X PRO CARBON to full SRAM Force 2013 10 speed. I just need a compact crank & shifters to complete conversion. Then CRC just went & dropped Force with the exception of a few items, i'm only really concerned with the crank (2013 Compact 50/34 - GXP - 172.5mm) can still get the shifters at non rip of prices with a bit of searching on the net. I am not paying RIP OF PRICES on FleaBay and other such sites for so-called brand new earlier versions of force ie:2011 & CRC have no particular answer to any of the emails i have sent them. Has anybody else come across this before? As speaking to SRAM , according to them, Force 2013 - 10 speed is alive and well aswell as the new RED/FORCE 22 speed options. Can order it in from the USA shops no problem, but by the time you pay P&P & customs rip you off, it's not really financially viable.

    Regards, Beagh1974

They come up regularly enough for sale in the Adverts subforum.

I have a set of compact 172.5mm Red cranks lying around, couple of years old but only lightly used. What's your budget?

BIKE24 (on-line German shop) have them at around €220, but they cannot give me a delivery date at this moment in time. Tempting as your SRAM red cranks sound i'm going for the 2013 FORCE option. Suspect when SRAM RED/FORCE 22 start to appear on the shelves, 2013 prices will start to fall. Just don't understand CRC attitude, abit like BucketAir, know they seem to be the big players there prices or so called bargains don't seem as good anymore.

Is anybody else in the same position ? Riding on a budget, cannot justify Campag Record, Dura ace or SRAM Red. So going for SRAM Force which i think is a great groupset for the price. Looking for a brand new 2013 GXP compact crank at a non rip off price.

I've always found bike discount de quite good

    http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k661/a97985/force-crankset-compact-50-34-1725mm-black.html?mfid=248

After looking at the item it says 'to be ordered' which suggests they must go to sram to order the parts and don't have stock. 200 euro is about the right price. They have the non exogram red version for 260 euro in stock. You will definitely begin to struggle, as most people with existing force are more likely to replace worn rings rather than the whole crankset and so shops will not have a big stock in reserve of complete cranksets.

    Try here too

    Wiggle will let you order

    To Ashleey.

That's more like it, that price looks better to me. Not familiar with that site, but looks good.

No problem. Bike discount de do charge for delivery, but I've always found them reliable. I've added a couple of other options too to an edited post. Best of luck.

Another good source of bike components that I can recommend is:

They do not offer a better bargain for what you need than suggested by Ashley, however, when I was looking for a specific Sram crankset some time ago, their offer was the best and it was one of very few places online where I could get these cranks.

Have opted for a brand new SRAM FORCE 2013 crank with 175 arms from Ribblecycles for €151 all in delivered to Ireland. For that price i can always drop my saddle a couple of mm's.

Thank you to all who replied, have an extra company suggested by ashleey added to my favourites bar.

    Regards to all, Beagh.
