Sunday 28th April - Waller Cup, Bohermeen

Circuit is 16.5km - app.strava.com/segments/1079523 - with the finish line a little before the crossroads there, at the end of the climb.

Sign-on is at Bohermeen Community Centre, Neillstown, Bohermeen (goo.gl/maps/F9SBK). No time given on the flyer, so maybe 11.00-12.30.

    Senior races at 1pm:
A1/2 - 7 laps, prizes for first 8, and 1st unplaced A2s. Waller Cup and €250 for winner
    A3 - 6 laps, first 8
Ladies Race - 4 laps, first 8 (part of National League)
    A4 - 4 laps, first 8

    Youth races at 11am:
    U16 - 2 laps, first 8
    U14 - 1 lap, first 8
    U12 - 4.7km, first 8

You got some new ones out of it didn't you - maybe not the bite of a certain Uruguayan individual, but you wouldn't want a front set like that anyway ...

That I did, along with a new lip, nose, chin and various other bits..

Actually looked like I was eaten by a Luis "Dr Lecter" Suarez type

    Thanks for that.
Circuit looks lumpy, but the climbs are only short punchy one's right? Is the course technical or pretty standard?

The hill's are fairly benign and the course is not too technical. Fast race and fairly easy to hang in so expect a big group at the finish.
Generally a well run and marshalled event.

I don't really remember last year tbh, but it's a very manageable course, and then the finish is after a long draggy climb. I think. I came in behind the bunch in the A4s last year.

Finish I believe is different this year.Circuit is the same as usual, but on the circuit about two thirds the way round theres a sharp right hander. At this point on the final lap of each race it will be taking a left and finishing off circuit. Its a bit wider than the usual.

o rly? So last lap will look like something like this? http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/196416442/

That's a pity, I liked the old finish.
