    No. .1's in Singles only.

Thanks and dose that mean you won't get cut if u win team event ??? Also say you have a midweek comp and u play only 14 holes and u don't win dose that count in getting .1 of a shot back or dose it have to be 18 hole single event ???

You can get cut for winning team events, but i believe it to be a rare enough happening these days, It depends if the competition is qualifying you don't get .1 back when you don't win, only when you score is outside you h/c's buffer zone. go to the CONGU website and you'll get all the info you need.

I'm pretty sure that if its a 3 ball aggregate in qualifying conditions you can be cut/get .1 back

Nope only in singles can you get .1's, although you can be cut for team events, but as a previous poster already said, it rarely happens anymore.

Had a look at some of rules there all a bit confusing I'm category 3 I got a 18 handicap used to play a bit of pitch and putt so handy enough around greens it seems there's a buffer of 3 shots on my handicap and u can get cut .3 of a shot if ure under handicap is my understanding but how do they work that in a Stableford comp . Is it if u beat the average point scores from different catorigies .my first comp I had 20 points so I think I should get .1 back but not sure

You will get .1 back for that, If you take it as a vague rule of thumb that 36pts is the Standard Scratch you need to shoot at worst 33pts not to gain the .1.
Standard Scratch can vary on the day of competition this is called Competition Scratch Score, Its calculated using a % of scores in each category excluding cat 4, could be wrong on the last bit.
.1's are only applied to you H/Cat the months end.

    Has that changed again ?
It used to be so, but a couple of years ago changed to immeditate application to the handicap ? And I thought it was still thus.

As I said I wasn't aware of the change, I have not played competitive golf in 4 years, a wee bit outta the loop, hated getting the point ones back.

Been a long time since I had anything else. Of course when I played the round of my life last week it was just a practice round !!
