No reception on 02 Focus radio

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong with my radio?? Have had only RTE 1 for ages on LW but now even that is gone. Took it out and no loose cables. CD player is working fine. FM stations are gone completely and the radio just looks to tune in stations but none are found

If the model of your radio is 6000...will be written on front face ...... then the tuner unit is faulty and needs to be replaced .

Nearly all ford radios from that times seemed to have this problem.
It's a tuner head which is gone.
Any person with interest in electronics and soldering should be able to fix it quite easily.

To change a tuner head. It's an element which looks like that:

The 252 TX was shutdown for maintance a few days ago.
