    Hi guys,

I am going to get my cable installed for broadband this week. The main eircom dsl socket is downstairs beside the television and there is a long extension running upstairs to the modem which is bridged to the wireless router.

So I was just wondering if I can get the soon to be installed cable installed into the room where the wireless router and modem is connected now which is located upstairs at the back of the house (like through the wall or something)?

P.S. I don't plan on getting UPC TV.

    Thanks

Far as I know you'd have to pay €60 extra to get the cable point moved if there's a cable point already downstairs
