Dents in Alu Frame

Hi, I'm considering buying a frame of a friend of mine but someone has been to it with a hammer. There's no cracks in it but it is a little dented. Would this affect the frame in any way?

A frame that has been hit with a hammer and damaged is potentially dangerous, if it was for sale from a stranger would you still be buying it? Could be ok depending on the extent of damage but impossible to assess reliably on an alu frame plus alu takes dents and bangs less well than steel (tends to split and crack being less flexible). Frame failure while you're riding it would be not fun...

if the dent is small and not in a critical area and you are going to use the blike for around town then it's probably ok. if not I would.t chance it.

Aren't there enough bikes for sale out there without considering one that has been assaulted with a hammer.

Thanks folks. I've chosen to skip on this bike.
