    Hi all,

I have take apart and repaired my Sony Ericsson Mini Pro a few times now, problem is that every time I replace and stick down the lcd/digitizer after a few days it starts to lift again. I have bought decent double sided tape for the job etc.

Its driving me nuts, at always starts around the three buttons at the bottom of the screen. Anyone any ideas?

Are you cleaning the surfaces properly before applying the new tape?

I _think_ so, I clean off the old tape with a flat head screen driver.

There is always some bit and pieces of sticky residue that are tough to get off, but I don't think there is an enough to make a difference?

Try wiping it down with alcohol. Get it "polished" if you can. Then let it air for 20 mins.

I've never managed to get such a repair back to factory quality, but it should be possible to get very close.

Thanks for the tip, I have Lidl screen wipes here that might do the trick.

Very far from factory quality at the moment :-)
