    Hi all,

    Just wondering is their a forum where people from boards meet up and go for spins? Just I would be around at different times during the week and it would be nice to post saying that I am about such a place, at such a time if anyone was interested in meeting. Obviously I am in my local cycling club but during this time of the year people are doing hard training so it is hard to get out on leisurly cycles with people.

    I tried to do the same by starting a thread a few weeks back and got no replies. I get some days mid week off and always go for a spin. Be great to have a thread people post on the night before.
    Where a bouts in the country are you?

    The usual thing is to post a day or two in advance with a date, time and area in the thread title. Post a bit of info on your proposed route and expected pace and see if anyone bites...

    This thread has had the most success, around Dublin mostly though, so not sure if thats your locality.

    Thanks, the user name is a bit of a red herring as im actually from Louth, born and bred in Dundalk.

    I had expected that most are in Dublin but no harm in checking anyway.
