Stolen car -08 Mondeo

    My car was stolen from the driveway in the Knocklyon area early this morning...ba****ds got the keys from a table inside through the letter box. Anyway I know the chances of getting it back now are slim but I'm just putting this up here in case someone tries to sell it quickly...don't want to see someone get done by buying a stolen car. It's a red diesel mondeo, the edge model....reg is 08-D-121695 and it has about 69k miles on the clock. Didn't even have it 4 months! :(

    On the off chance someone sees it anywhere please PM me.

    Put up a pic of the car, OP. The fellas on here will have a good idea of what to look for then.

    Good idea...only had it a couple of months though so not too many photos of it....in fact this might be the only one...

    It was missing a front hubcap that day but it's back on it now...wherever it is...

    Does it have all hubcaps? Or is there some missing. Most likely the plates have been changed by now.

    Any other features that may stand out?

    Don't think there's many of them about - well not that I've seen. Will keep an eye out OP.

    Hopefully it'll turn up.

    Sorry to hear that.My car also got stolen back in 07.Little ****ers broke in and took the keys from my sisters room. They did is so quickly and so slyly that we didnt even notice or hear them as it all happened so fast.

    I know exactly what you are going through. It's the shock alone thats tough to overcome.

    There are just bad people out there

    Should be easy for me to remember. I will keep an eye out.

    Full Garda spec Mondeo. Red LX with missing hubcaps. What is the blue cross on the rear view mirror ? Might make it stand out even more.

    Will keep an eye out. Might be worth putting up on stolen and recovered Ireland's face book page, get more people to have a look out for it.

    Yep, all hubcaps are on it now...had a flat that day that knocked one of them off but that's been sorted.

    The lower left rear light is broken but not much else that you would notice unless right up beside it.

    Just a blue sticker....we only noticed from the photo...should be still on it actually so yeah that might make it stand out more alright...

    You're lucky the Garda didnt take many new model mondeos in 08, should stand out.

    whats the garda got to do with it. not too many red ones knockin about good chance somebody will find it

    Because, practically every red d reg mondeo I've ever seen has been a Garda car. Just an observation

    Cheers....said something similar to the guards who called this morning and they said they know of at least 2 around the area...hopefully whoever took it slips up somehow but it's a long shot...
