Anyone have Silhouette frames??

    Mr sudzs just got some new glasses, Silhouette frames and fancy lenses so the whole package wasn't exactly cheap. Anyway, they are a disaster! The frame is attached in a very wonky fashion, the bits attached to the lenses are at different angles as are where the arms are attached. But quite about from that I suspect the frames are fakes so could anyone tell me what should be printed on the arms of genuine Silhouette frames.

    These ones have on the left arm, in white "Frame made in Austria Silhouette" and on the right arm, also white, is S7394 50 (a small square) 17 135.

    And I've googled the style number S7394 but have found nothing.

    Any advice appreciated! :)

    Can you pm me a pic and tell me where you got them?

    I can fix them for you. Part of job is the manufacture of these in prescription form.

    Thanks for the offer but we're in Ghana at the moment ...hence the appalling quality of the work!

    Ah ok! Well if you can send me over a few pics of the frame I can tell you if they're real.

    Thanks RiseToMe but mr. sudzs took them with him this morning to bring them back to the optician to try and get his money back. The manager was supposed to be there to discuss but did not turn up. If he has the glasses with him tonight I'll try to get a few pictures with my phone and send them to you. :)
