This Wednesday, 24th April, the Dublin Strobist group are having a small shoot in a recording studio in Chapelizod. We will have a model or two, a cool environment, and some interesting props.

It is FREE, and open to all, but places are limited. If you are into, or would like to get into flash photography, check out the facebook page and register your interest there.

    Cheers

630-7pm, though we have the place for the whole evening.

    Full details here:

We have 2 amazing models lined up, and a great location.

Space left for 3 more photographers.
It's really a great opportunity for everyone involved.

not being funny, but are 35mm users ok to join? even just for the learning experience?

    Hey. :)

Most strobists seem to prefer chimping the LCD screen to using light meters, but I know some people use 35mm and work exactly that way. If you have a light meter and know how to use it, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to get some decent results.

If not, you're welcome to come along anyway. One of the guys going has a fair bit of experience with off-camera flash and he will be giving a few pointers, he just doesn't know it yet :p

I just want everyone to get something from it, i.e that the photographers will get a few decent shots, or learn a few tips, that the models will get some shots for their portfolios, and that the venue will get some interesting promotional shots.
