Just wondering if anyone out there has been to, or had their wedding in Rathsallagh Co Wicklow?

I'm getting married next year and looking for a venue in the countryside that's relatively near Dublin.

    Any tips?

Rathsallagh is a nice venue but I personally prefer other venues a similar distsance like clonabreany durrow castle and Brooklodge. The main house is a bad shape for smaller weddings and the marquee is nice but then the house is wasted. I've been a guest and the food was above average but ballybeg was better.

indeed, having visited all of the above was rather impressed with Castle Durrow and Brooklodge (though rather expensive by comparison I'd say).
Didn't like Rathsallagh personally. Was expecting it to look a little more "maintained" I suppose. It does feel like a little old thatched house in the west where an old lady lives, with log fires and smell of turf. It's cosy, but wouldn't be for a wedding for me.
