Any advice on trading in an old iPhone 4?

I am thinking of getting an iPhone 5. I have an iPhone 4, and I'm wondering if I could get much for a trade in. It is about 2 and half years old, the home button
does not work too well, it doesn't vibrate, the battery is gone pretty bad, barely lasts a day now even on standby, but the phone itself works just fine.

How would I find out what I could get for trading it in? I am with Meteor, but I think they are only accepting 4s trade ins. Is it even worth trading it in? it may come in handy as a backup phone all the same.

    Thanks.

Trade in ? No, not worth it. If it was perfectly functional and in mint condition, it might fetch €200-250 selling privately. As it stands, with the issues mentioned, you'd be lucky to get €130-150. On a trade, they'd offer you less. Try Adverts.ie.

Is it 16 or 32 gb. For march CPW were giving 20% extra on a trade in. iPhone 4 32 and 16 gb were €180 and €110. They won't know about any of the problems so try that route. They only take the phone as well so you have a spare socket for 3rd party lightning cables.

No I don't think so. You can get a replacement back for a couple of euro and fit it and then trade in
