Factory Reset - Galaxy Ace

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace that I'm giving to my Mam cos I'm getting a new phone. I was thinking of restoring it to factory settings so that she would be getting a clean phone. Is this a good idea? Basically I want to remove all of my data off it so she can start afresh. Thanks

If you've linked your Google account to the phone, it makes sense to reset the phone. Both for your own peace of mind and as a common courtesy to your Mum.
