Global Invacom FibreMDU

I'm in an apartment on a shared system. The initial wiring was very poor with F plugs not properly wrapped or tightened/connected and they were constantly getting dislodged. (Installer now gone bust)

I got some f plug leads from Peats as a temporary workaround, but I neglected to take note what receiver ports (nos 1 - 4) on the convertor they were hooked up to.

I'm only getting input 1 locked with no stream on input 2 - sky+ apart not working. Can only record on channel I have it switched to.

Is there a specific way of running the leads from the Global Invacom FibreMDU to the Sky box, or would it be a question of dodgy leads?

    Forgive the naivity. :)

Was the Sky+ box working there previously or is this a new install?

It shouldn't matter which port you connect to on the MDU, they should all have signal. Disconnect the cable thats working from the MDU and connect it to a different port to see if there's signal.

Box was working until the weekend. Installed a number of months ago, Had intermittent issues with leads working loose prior to this.

    Tried that. No luck

The more I think about it, the more it looks like it may be suspect cabling. That, or the box is snafu. I'll try and source different leads today.

Plug the box out of the mains for a min, I've seen some boxes that will only display input 1 as having a signal despite both inputs being fed working signals.

Faulty cable was the issue. Thanks for the input ;)
