You talking about the jg aug and which variant...A1, A2, A3?

A "AUG" is a real steel rifle, what you are buying is a replica of the "AUG" so knowing the actual airsoft manufacturer of the replica would help more with regards advice. Throw up a link maybe of it.

Here is the description from the site
''A great rifle if range and a full auto feature is your thing, this is the AUG A2 the civilian and police version of the famous Steyr assault rifle. This rifle is more suited to the older airsofter, this Phantom model features a tough ABS synthetic style stock, it includes an 8.4v battery and charger.''
    Cost is €179.

As Southern Dandy said a link would be nice but I know its the jg.
Its an ok gun but definitely isnt on par with similarly priced g&gs which would last far longer. Also the trigger on those augs break after a few thousand rounds and sourcing another trigger will be a challenge in itself. The internals are pretty bad aswell, the shimming being absolutely awful. Id recommend getting a g&g cm16 carbine which is the same price or saving up for the tm aug which I heard is much better but a good bit more expensive. Honestly if you want an aug id save for the tm version.

Forgot to add its a bullpup so the barrel is way longer than normal but whatever about what the website says the rof is nothing special

Hi have owned a few jg AUGs and I do repair work so have worked on a few over the years and a TM AUG was my first AEG many years ago, still have it. Never had a trigger problem with any of the ones I've owned and I'd put more than a few thousand rds through them in one skirmish. Trigger contacts can burn out on the AUG because of the way the trigger is set up single fire is always used first on the way to full auto but wont be any more common than another AEG where single fire is main mode of fire. In most cases With AUGs its the forward grip that has broken off, and thats the same for jg tm and classic army AUGs. The shaft is made of cheap soft pot metal and will not stand up to any serious handling. One strong impact with some cover or the ground can crack or snap it off completely.
As for the internals of the JG, they are chinese clones, some are good some are bad. Never known the AUGs to be consistantly any worse than the rest. The TM one is nice but at double the price can't say its double the AEG. Battery compartment is small on all AUGs its only big enough for a mini 8.4.(which affects ROF) If your planning on skirmishing a second battery might be required, Modification is required for anything else. Secondhand Mags are not too common either. I like the AUG but its not for everyone. Its all about personal taste.
