Ferguson saorview box

    Just a quick question, a friend of mine was able to watch sky in their kitchen from their living room, both the satellite & terrestrial signal were going through this cable, he said they recently got a saorview box for the kitchen & put that cable into the box for just the saorview channels, at the back of the box there is a "loop out", can he just run a cable from that back into the tv to pick up the sky again?

    Of course you can loop out to the tv's aerial input.

    Also, Sky box RF output is for the tv's analogue tuner, when people refer to 'satellite' signals in these forums, they usually mean satellite IF from the lnb.

    Sound Peter , just wanted to know before I make the journey out there incase I needed any equipment, ya as far as I know it's coming from the rf on the sky box up into the attic into 3way amp & then to various rooms that go into the saorview box for just the rte channels,
    So he will still get the sky so if I just loop from the saorview box into the tv? Thanks
