Am I entitled to holiday pay?

I've worked in a bar part-time for the last 5 years, I'm 20 years old and a student. This year I have started doing extra shifts during the week because I need the extra money, so on average for the last 8 months I've been working 30+ hours a week. I've never received any holiday pay and as far as I know none of the other part time staff have either. I'm guessing this is illegal but not sure what to do about it?
    Thanks for any info :)

Yes you are entitled to holiday pay. All on citizen advice website.

The only thing you can do is ask your boss about it. He might be agreeable but likely not. You can provide him with the information after that and then be a bit more vocal about it.

If he determines the amount you work you could easily loose hours. It really depends on what he is like. Did it when I was younger and it wasn't worth the hassle in the end but others benefitted from it after it was done.

You can pursue it but I would say only do that when you are planning to leave or have something else. It is more about being pragmatic than being right.
