Camera repair

    Hi, my brother recently got a new camera sony dsc-hx20v and went on holidays with it soon after, some guy offered to take a pic of the brother and his girlfriend, but the foola dropped the camera. Brother is fuming over it . Theres a small bent on the side where the settings wheel(?) is and has made the wheel very stiff to turn. Is it possible to get it repaired. His Girlfriend got it for him at Christmas in the sony centre, what the best action to take ? He has lost all love the the camera now and is going on a safari trip soon and id like to have it sorted for him before then.
