Sorry if this is on the wrong category.

I bought an item from an ebay seller but completed the transaction outside of ebay.

After 5 months of constant problems I decided to contact the seller but he will not respond.

Am I covered by paypal to open a dispute even after 5 months?

Moved to Online buying & auctions.
PayPal & Ebay warn about this every time..
If you complete the transaction outside of EBay you are not covered.!

Well first off, don't buy items outside of ebay again as you're open to being scammed. You can open a dispute if the transaction was made with PayPal. Did you receive the item?
As for the time limit, it's best to contact PayPal and ask them the best protocol to follow.

I believe the time limit is 60 days
