Why would anyone do this?

For years ive begged my friends to go to new york with me, ive been before and loved it, always had a fascination with it and just love it there. Anyway two friends in particular hadnt been and i knew they were interested in going. At the start of the new year i mentioned to both of them how we should go, one ignored me and the other said yeah she was hoping to go this year. My other friends kept saying "oh they wouldnt go without you they know how much you love new york" (we were close friends for a long long time up until this). Anyway two months ago (only a few days after we had spoke about it) they put up on facebook that they had booked it, couldnt wait etc etc. It might sounds dramatic but it broke my heart. Im so angry and hurt when i think about it i get so angry that I actually punched the wall. Not smart but i just cant get over it. I am so hurt. I cant believe people ive been friends with for 20 years would see that i want to go somewhere go without me and put it on facebook as their way of breaking the news. Why not just say to me look we want to go but we dont want you there. I cant move on its constantly on my mind i dunno what to do. When i pulled them up on it their response way "didnt realise you were shi*ting money"

Any advice?
