Hi there,

I hope this is the right place to post. I am looking to do this cycle with a friend and wondering if anybody here has done it and what route they have used? We are looking to go the most direct way so not too pushed if it may not be the most scenic.

I have seen the maracycle but cant see the route they used. Are you allowed cycle on the A1 north of the border or should it be avoided at all costs.

South of the border appears alright with the old Dublin to Belfast road as far as Dundalk.

Any advice would be great!
