Airspace has closed over Boston due to Boston bombings on the Boston City marathon.

Looking at it on the radar box anything within 60nm is excluded around Boston

Oh god I didn't hear about the bombings til now.

The airspace seems to have re opened now, a lot of flights still holding over Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Some flights are landing now but a lot of flights still seem to be diverting or holding south of Boston. It must be a major security operation. Amazing more people weren't killed.

True, 2 people died so far but a shocking 25 people were left without at least one limb..horrible to hear

Irish Independant now reporting 12 dead. I was there yesterday. At the finish line. It's a bit chilling.

My friend just left the finish line a very short time before the bombs went off, scary :(

On another note, EI139 just touched down this moment at Logan so doesn't seem to have affected that flight, airspace is very quiet around there at the moment!
