    Hi,
After searching for ages, trying a few cars (Saab 93, VW Passat Highline or Bluemotion, Honda Accord, Volvo S40), posting a few threads here I might be closer to getting a car.
Just looking for some opinions onthis car please?

    2010 Mazda6 2.2 160 BHP TD S 5DR, 80,000 miles for €12,850
It's a UK car, I'd get a full check on it obviously.

I gave it a quick spin today, seemed very nice, spacious. Price seems ok to me for the milage & year.

Check that the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) warning light on the dash comes on with the ignition and goes off after a few seconds. Make sure the DPF warning light is not flashing when the engine is running. Check that the engine management warning light is not on. Also, check the service history to make sure that the oil used in the servicing has been either ‘Low Ash’ or ‘DPF’ oil – these are the only oils that enable the engine to run correctly.

There isn't a stamped service book on those cars so checking the history requires having the key read by a Mazda service centre....
