S3 - external charger

    Hi,

    I have bought a Android S3 (N9300). The Samgsung S3 is i9300 so my phone is a knock-off version. Same specs etc.

    My query is the usb port charger is broken - wont charge, can anyone recommend an external charger for the battery

    The power connections for the Samgsung S3 on the battery are different so dont think this will work for my phone.

    The USB port is also for the external charger. There isn't a separate charger port.
    What you can try is:
    - get a spare battery and rotate with original battery. You can charge both with external charger (ebay for less than a tenner).
    - Wireless charging (fairly expensive, from what I can see)

    Thats what the OP is suggesting.


    I have one of these: http://www.hahnel.ie/index.cfm?page=universalchargers&pId=85 which would do it, you just pop it in against the terminals.

    still not sure if that charger will work.

    The battery model is "eb-l125llu"
    I have tried relentlessy, i cant seem to find an external charger for this battery type.

    Can anyone help
