Power/Idle Issue

    Hi all,

I'm driving an 04 Opel Corsa 1.0L petrol with 140k miles on the clock.

Lately I've noticed a drop in power on hills. On the flat it's not too noticable. Also I've noticed a difference when I start the engine cold. It used to idle at 1200rpm before dropping to 800rpm after a minute. Now it idles at about 950rpm before dropping to 800rpm. There's no dashboard warning lights on. Losing no coolant and oil looks fine.

I changed the oil, all filters (air, oil & fuel), spark plugs & through in some injector cleaner last weekend but no real difference. The spark plugs looked fine, a light tan colour on the insulator.

Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong or is the car just getting over the hill. Is there anything else I can check?

    Are u a mechanic. ?????
Firstly the air mass gives trouble on them
    Secondly the coils also do.
Thirdly it could be a vacuum leak
In fact it could be anything without really seen the car it's a hard call.

No I'm not a mechanic but try and do as much as possible myself to keep costs down. I'll give it in to a mechanic if there's nothing simple I can do.

I checked all the hoses they seem to be in good nick.

The MAF crossed my mind but I dismissed it because there's no check engine light on. Is this assumption wrong?
