03 Passat TDI climatronic issue

    Hi All,

    I have 03 passat TDI climatronic showing no outside temprature. few days back it used to show random temprature reading like fluctuating between -6 and -36 at different time.

    Any idea/guidance appreciated as to what could be wrong here and is it DIY job to fix it?

    Probably just the sensor. It is behind the front bumper. New part is cheap from VW.

    Thanks george. is it available only with the dealer or i can get it from motor parts shop? and is it easy to replace?
