To be honest, the build up at the start of the video does this enough justice. But here's my own anyway...

Nothing beats the build up to a big college football game. Up until #1 vs #2 between Alabama and LSU a couple of years ago, there were few games who could claim to have matched the incredible hype and build up of the week perennial rivals USC and Notre Dame squared off in South Bend back in 2005.

USC were reigning back-to-back national champions in 2003 and 2004, and entered the game currently #1 in the nation off the back of an incredible 27 game winning streak and 5-0 up to that point in the season. Notre Dame were 4-1, and although championship aspirations would have been a big ask, dethroning USC would be a championship in itself.

However, with the Trojans boasting bonafide college superstars - none more so than Matt Leinart at QB and Reggie Bush at RB, Notre Dame would have their work cut out for them.

The first ever Cam's Classic I posted featured a game remembered my many as the best college football game of all time - Boise State against Oklahoma. Those who don't think that was the best? It's a good bet that's because this is the one they put on top. Sit back and enjoy.
