Just after leaning that if you pass away and don't specify in your will who is to get your single farm payment, it is split evenly between your wife and kids. Its causing a lot of trouble for the people i know. Did anyone else know this or come across it?

My father died last summer and left out who was to get the entitlements, think the department tried to put a hold on the blue cards too so we couldn't sell anything until the will had been sorted out even though the will said everything was to go to the mother you have to specify everthing

Oh and we got the sfp sorted out too I think we had to go to the solicitor and sign something saying we agreed for the sfp to go to the mother
