    Hi all,
apologies if this has been asked a million times before but wondering can anyone help with my problem....

I recently signed up with Sky and have it set up on one tv in the house. When the sky man was installing the dish i got him to run another cable from the dish into another room in the house. I then got another sky box from a friend that no longer required it and hooked it up to another tv ( which is not saorview enabled ). I was hoping to pick up a few free to air channels but i dont seem to be getting any???

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong???

    thanks

You should be picking up some free to air channels on it.

You could go out and buy yourself a Freesat branded box, fairly basic cheap one, and it will have a full EPG guide. Or you could get one of the generic FTA boxes that you can buy in many of the electrical retailers or hardware stores.

I presume you're actually viewing the box output on the tv & haven't done as some do, connecting the Sky box via an AV input, but scanning for channels on the tv's own tuner?
