Just wondering if there are any cancellation fees for cancelling a phone/broadband account assuming that I give the required 30 days notice?

    Thanks.

    Hi PenguinMan

Assuming you are out of contract and notifyeircom 30 days in advance there will be no cancellation fees.

For further info or if you would like givenotice of cancellation please contact eircom cancellations on 1901 option 4 where they will then advice you on the process and procedure to do so.

Thanks Alan. Is it still possible to port the current phone number to another provider after that?

    Hi PenguinMan

Yes, this is possible when the thirty daysnotification period is up. It would be very important to inform the cancellations department that you are opting to switch to another provider and not requesting the full cancellation of services.

    Regards

    Al
