Garmin to ipad

    Anyone know whether I can connect my garmin 305 to an ipad. It would save me the bother of connecting to laptop via usb to upload routes/spins to Strava etc.

    I looked into this last year and the answer is basically no! There is some convoluted method but it's not straightforward!

    I think if you buy the camera connector kit and connect via USB, then jailbreak you could. But then you'll have to maintain your jailbreak every time there is an update to iOS. Also you void your warranty on your ipad

    You could just run Strava on your iPad and strap that to your handlebars. Voila! ;)
