    Hello,

Is it the metal slotted strips you are looking for that are in most building providers. You can place the brackets at any height you need?

Yeah. I've never seen it in any builders providers though. Not that I was ever looking the few times I've been. Looking for something that looks nice as well, non commercial looking. It's for a small room I'm doing up as an office.

The 2 local builder providers in my town have them. They would be a lot cheaper than B&Q but they are still fairly pricey for what they are.

If I was to guess, if you could find shop fitters they might do it cheaper or know where to get them. Or shops that are closing would be happy to sell them off I would guess.

Sorry. I'm a cash buyer only. I've been burned by an online designer of bespoke wood shelvery in the past. Have you a display model i could put up for a few years to see do i like it before purchasing?

That's actually given me an idea. I have a retired family member who was a carpenter. I'm going wood hunting.

Wood is the way to go. It would be stronger, cheaper and look a lot better.

That's called Twin Slot shelving. I used the very same shelving in my Garage recently.
After a lot of searching the cheapest place I could find it was from a company called TP Woods in the uk. You will find them on Ebay. They delivered to Parcel Motel and I collected from there Finglas Depot. Even with the postage it worked out at half the price I was being quoted here just for the Shelving.
I used 225 mm by 22mm Timber for the Shelves from the local Builder providers.

Very pleased with how it turned out.
