Blaupunkt Ipod Connector

    Hi

    I recently got an blaupunkt ipod connector installed on my 05 alfra romeo GT

    im just wondering does anyone having something similar because im having some issues

    1.when i connect ipod it displays "Blaupunkt" on the ipod so i cant control the ipod
    2.when trying to control the ipod through the radio i seem only to be able to play playlists from the ipod?

    it cost alot of money so kinda wanna get it sorted

    not being able to control the iPod itself is normal. Don't know about the playlists though

    a lot of older ipod interfaces can only see playlists as they emulate each playlist as a cd as if your whole ipod was a cd changer, can you give me the model number of the stereo / ipod kit and I will see if there are any software updates etc. that might give you more control.
