Restaurant for confirmation meal

    Hiya, was looking for somewhere to have lunch after the confirmation. The church is in Portmarnock. I know theres the usual TGIs, or Captain Americas but wanted somewhere a bit different. Was thinking Scotch Bonnet, but itd prob be jammers with loadsa other kids. Its only for about 7 of us, and a toddler so somewhere kiddy friendly. Thanks

    I've always found hotels better for Communion/Confirmation meals because there's more room and you can wander a bit with young children, and linger after you've finished the meal. The Coast restaurant in the Grand in Malahide is really nice. There's a carvery too but I've never had that.
