Trying to find some decent books/articles relating to the role/influence of the press in war generally, but more specifically World War II. Finding it very difficult as most information on the media and war relates to modern wars such as Iraq and so is largely irrelevant to me. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Books on the topics of Beaverbrook, Bracken, etc should give you good insight. I have not read THIS one but it looks appropriate
