What is the best car history check website to go with if one wants to confirm mileage/number of owners and when the owners changed? Also car tax history if possible. Just looking at a car with low mileage for its age

motorcheck.ie is a pretty decent site, there are a few more as well if you do a google search.

I don't think the mileage is recorded on these, you would have to judge it on condition and evidence of service history - if there's no service history and the car is too good to be true, it probably is.

    There's motorcheck, cartell and mywheels.
    Check them and compare prices.
Mileage is not there on any. Cartell "boasts" to have mileage but that is miles people have volunteered to them, not miles from NCT.

If I can get motor tax history it might help with the mileage. Its a 7 year old car with only 33k miles on it. Car looks like new and spare wheel/jack have never been used (well the ones in the car now anyways!).

All the above are around the same price but was wondering if one was better then the others or if they are all the same at the end of the day.

Look for old oil service stickers and receipts for various services. You can find mileage there.
    Check service history.
