Hi, my pc seems to have developed a problem, at first i seemed to start getting alot of blue screen crashes, then it would not boot, kept rebootin, also before the boot problem started, it wud stay on the motherboard splash screen for over a minute.
dr debug on the mother board is giving error 55.
It seems to be a problem with the ram or slots, it wont boot with all the ram in, but will with 1 stick of ram.
    Could the motherboard be fecked?
    spec: ASrock extreme 4
    16GB Gskill ripjaws
    intel i5 3570k
    samsung ssd
    gigabyte hd7950
    superflower amazon 550w

    Thanks.

How many RAM sticks are in that kit?
Try the RAM one at a time and in different slots. You may need to use a program like memtest86. This way you should be able to figure out if it's the slot or a memory stick that's faulty. Sounds like the memory is at fault to me.

4 sticks, it has been working fine until the last few weeks, i just got 8Gb to work, put a stick in slot one and three.
iv already tried updating the motherboard bios, all the sticks work in slot one i think when i put just one in.
any more and its error 55, I reinstalled windows too.
