Non working Barret M99 ( Springer)

Hi all I have my barret M99 here for sale, It needs a new cylinder, The cylinder in it now is an old one I had here for an L96 type springer and I modded it to fit just for the pics, All the parts are in the little box in the pics, It has an upgraded alluminium piston and metal spring guide in it ,I also mislaid the carry handle , I am the first owner of this gun. It is sprayed OD and done properly not a splash and dash, It was prepared first and got 3 coats, and then 2 of begadi Matte clear, The scope got the same treatment but not the dials or rings, The dials are a twist and click affair so no messing around with screwdrivers or dust caps to zero, it is also illuminated Red/ Green I know what this gun can be got for new and what a cylinder cost so I hope I am pricing it keenly, The reason I am sell is twofold I have 2 projects on the go at the moment and I am also trying to raise cash for a support gun after the sale of my own, I am looking for 120 for the gun on its own and 60 for the scope as it cost over a hundred new If memory serves my correctly, It was expensive put it that way:rolleyes:, I will sell the gun on its own but not the scope, I will sell the two together for 150, I usually have no problem posting but as I do not have the box and with the weight of this I would prefer collection, I will travel to meet half way based on were you live as I would like any buyer to inspect before purchase,

I am new to this website and don't really understand the format but I would like to know if offer you the asking price on the Barret + scope provided you are near to Dublin? Is the gun working?

Hi Dodge Royal I can have the gun sent to Dublin with a mate, or as I sometimes travel to the Dublin side of Carlow I can go as far as Bewleys at Newlandscross, As you are new I feel it is only fair to point out the gun is not working, it needs a new cylinder as the press fit end came away from the original one, I just do not have the money to replace it as I have a few M4 projects on the go now, I would prefer to sell to a person with experiance in doing repairs etc to airsoft guns as I would hate to see someone spend there hard earned cash on what might end to be a wall hanger if they can't fix it,

Thank you for your straight answer.How much would it cost to fix properly?Does it look as if it works i.e .I mean can you pull back the bolt and dry fire it.I'm 71 tears old and don't think I would be up to skirmishing if that's what it's called.

Hi Dodge mate it does not dry fire as the cylinder and bolt I but in for the pics are not for the rifle, The cylinder is correct but the bolt lever is not, It could cost anywere from 100 usd to 250 usd plus shipping depending on the quality of cylinder you want, IE, press fit, laser welded etc, Even tough I need the cash mate I would not reccomend you buy this ,

Had to edit as I did not read youre last post correctly Yeas you can pull the bolt back but as the bolt lever is not the right one it will not lock back

It will be exactly 2 years old at the start of June and no I did not keep the box it was two big to store, As I keep all my guns on a rack I only keep the small boxes mate

Hi heat mate it only needs a new cylinder, If I have time and is not sold I'm going to mod the bolt from the 96 cylinder that's in it to get it working and hold on to it lol:rolleyes: I'm in South Killkenny mate the price is on the first post in my thread this whole package cost over 500 euro when bought

Sorry mate it is Snowwolf do you want the gun and scope or just the gun, I can't really move that much on price mate I can Take 15 off for the whole lot to help with fuel costs and thats about it
