Starting a new job having been on dole for the past few months. Question is will my p45 from my last job be enough for my new employer to avoid emergency tax or do I have to contact revenue because I was claiming job seeker allowance?

Your P45 will only be useful if the date of leaving is in 2013 .

JSA is not taxable , so no need to declare to Revenue
