HTC Desire X app for texting

I have recently acquired a HTC Desire X. It's my first foray into the World of Smartphones and I'm pretty pleased with it. The only thing that really bugs me is having the full Qwerty keyboard for texting. I'm so used to using a mobile number keypad to text with that I find I'm a lot slower than it used to be. I've had it a couple of weeks now and although I'm speeding up a little bit I don't think I'll ever be as fast with qwerty.

Is there a way round this on the Desire X or does anyone know of a decent app which will enable me to text like I used to ?
