2 month car insurance

    I need to get my car insured for this month and next. I don't need the full years insurance as I will be leaving the country in June.

    Thing is no insurance company will insure me for 2 months, they only alternative I have is to get the year insurance and pay monthly then cancel the debit after the 2 months.
    That's all fine but they are looking for a deposit as well as the monthly payment, I just can't afford To pay the deposit as it is a high enough amount. I have shopped around and all the deposits are in and around the same price range.

    Is is possible to go on a family members policy for the 2 months? And what will the charge be?
