    Mick Slates 11/2

This is one I quite fancy tomorrow. Had it's seasonal reappearance over Easter so expecting it to be better prepared tomorrow.

Nautilus in the 6.30 Kempton. Got word for this horse at Lingfield two weeks ago but couldnt get online to post. Have been told from a very reliable source that this horse is working extremely well at home and was expected to win first time out. He ran green on debut and finished an eye catching 3rd and was well looked after by Buick. Not going to get rich backing the horse today as will most likely be favorite but should get the job done.

Thats the video of his debut at Lingfield.

Best priced 5/4 with Skybet, generally 11/10. Got told of the same tip last time out and ran very green alright. Got told that today is money back for those losses.

He is saying to lay the 11/10 fav, why would you need the winner??

Not saying who is right or wrong in relation to this particular race btw>

Well I'm trying to understand who he fancies to beat the fav. Or is it laying without knowing the competition ? That seems illogical to me.

    4.10 Nottingham

    Extraterrestrial 10/1

Keeping this short but I think Richard Fahey's 9 year old is worth a dabble. Although winless since 2011, Extraterrestrial is clearly a well handicapped horse on a mark of 80 and proved more than capable of performing with great credit off higher marks last season. In May of last year, he was beaten a staying on 0.75L beaten 3rd off a mark of 90 at Ripon and again ran another mighty race in defeat when beaten half a length by the reopposing Osteopathic Remedy off a mark of 86 at Ayr in September. He took a well deserved 5 month break break in what was a season where he was very highly tried (12 runs) before returning in the Doncaster Spring Mile 11 days ago with a good effort. Off a mark of 82, Extraterrestrial was settled in the midfield and was just about getting into things with a good run before being squeezed out of things and he had to be snatched up quickly by Lee Topliss which halted all his momentum. However, he did run on again after that to grab 8th and beaten just over 6L. Although I don't think he would have gone close to winning, I do feel he could have perhaps grabbed 3rd or 4th and it was a pleasing reappearance run. Dropped 2lb by the handicapper, he's now on a career low mark and on a couple of last seasons efforts he clearly retains most of his ability. Barry McHugh takes the ride and I definitely feel that Extraterrestrial should strip fitter for his return 11 days ago. Although he's a difficult horse to win with, I do feel he's overpriced at 10/1 with Richard Fahey in such great form and although this does look an open contest I'm hopeful of a really good showing from this 9 year old and hopefully he can get another elusive win under his belt.

managed to get 12/1 e/w cheers rossom

Extraterrestrial goes straight into the notebook. Based on that run, he is definitely handicapped to win. Travelled into the race very nicely but just didn't have the pace to quicken and make up the ground on the front two in what was a slowly run race. Definitely will appreciate a strong gallop and should be winning soon. Nice little drift to 14/1 for e/w players.

Im happy with that field running for me.
Personally i have always done reasonably well backing gosdens horses.

You must be doing well the past two weeks  one winner at 1/8 and 6 horses out of the 9 runners he's had beaten at less than 9/2 including a 1/2 shot and another odds on poke, stable is a layers dream especially when havlin is on them.

I lay them all year around.

Fair Play. Just wondering is there any particular reason for this?

No just lay all his hotpots no matter what and you'll make good money even if they look good things they get beaten, its even better when Havlin is on them, himself and Mackay would get frankel beaten, the best place to lay them is when they're on the all weather when you see him sending one to southwell its useless.

I posted here several times last year to warn people about his shorties. The amount getting done at odds on were crazy. and I don't mean 10/11 I remember 2/9 1/5 1/3 all being done several times in a three or four week period

The period can be a killer.
