Dubai/abu dhabi alone a bad move?

I really want to go to Abu Dhabi or Dubai but none of my friends have the money to go. I am 23 female but I am hoping to hear other people's opinions on would this be safe to go for a few days alone? I wouldn't be drinking or staying out at night just want to experience the culture the beaches etc. thanks in advance
