HTC Desire X - Ringtones

I've got a Desire X. It's my first smartphone. The ringtones are bloody awful, so I downloaded some better ones from Zedge.

But how do I get them on to my phone? Do I need a card to do so? Knowing me, it's bound to be something really obvious, but I can't see what it is.

I've also downloaded the HTC Sync Manager, but no clues...

    TIA :)

SD Card - Media / Audio / Ringtones

If that folder structure doesn't exist, create it.
Throw your files in there and you should be able to select them in the ringtone list.

Edit: If you don't have an SD card, I'm not sure if you can do it....

Sorry to be so dumb, but does that mean then I need an SD card?

Did zedge not save them to the phone. if they did go to Settings=> Personalise=> Sound =>Ringtone. you should have a full list of all ringtones there and just pick the one you want.
