There's nothing better than crisps and chocolate.

Although I'd be sceptical as to whether or not they've achieved the perfect ratio in this bar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,230 ✭✭✭Merkin

    This is just wrong :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,461 ✭✭✭--Kaiser--

For anyone who thinks this is a bad idea, do the following:

    Get a Twirl bar
    Get a packet of Taytos
Eat a few crisps and eat some of the Twirl at the same time
    Nyom nyom

    Pass!

Now if they put popcorn and cisps in the same bag, that would be a goer!

They have got the balance all wrong taste wise, too much choc and not enough crisp

if you want to experience the real deal get a mouthful of mars bar and a few King crisps into you

I cannot wait to try them!

sounds wrong! but in saying that, usually the oddest combinations turn out the tastiest.

Packet of tayto, packet of dry roasted nuts, dash of tabasco and a liberal dash of worchester sauce. That is the puppies privates

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 65 ✭✭lovesfatgirls

ive no idea how theyll sell them
dont these sort of thing need to be battered and fried before they become edible?
or melted down to go in the kebab idk..

i voted yes but on second thought this sounds like a very horrible thing
how to keep crisps not soft?

    Nah.

    It'll be sh*te.

If I want chocolate Tayto I'll cram a Dairy Milk into me gob while munching on a sharebag all of my own.

I'm not going to let The Man tell me what ratio of chocolate to crisps I should have. Especially when The Man in question is an anthropomorphised root vegetable.

Some people just can't let true happiness into their lives.

Although I'm more of a Dairy Milk with Salt & Vinegar Taytos man myself.

It won't be nice, there is a reason you don't see these limited edition bars come out permanently, we're curious and buy them... so they get loads of sales initially, then we realise there rank and no one buys them... then about a year later they do the same... rinse and repeat.

Try a cheese and Onion crisp sandwich on nice fresh white bread, but crumble up a Flake and sprinkle it on, very very tasty :)

The picture makes it look like there isn't near enough Crisp for that amount of chocolate.

    Needs more R&D

Mr. Tayto said to pass on a message.

He said you're not allowed any of his gross new product now for being a pedant.

Sorry bro, that's what you get for messing with my jokes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 114 ✭✭Boo2112

Had one the day they came out. Had high expectations and was so disappointed. :(

They're using real cheap tasting chocolate and the taytos are ground into almost a powder in it. Great concept but poorly delivered. And they're bloody tiny, just a bit bigger then an animal bar I'd say but that didn't matter as nobody in my house finished theirs anyway. I'm taking this far too personally :o

No, this isn't the plain chocolate one they sell in Tayto Park before anyone points it out - this actually has bits of cheese and onion crisps in them.

What do we think - class idea, or a box that should never have been opened.

I must admit to being intruiged myself!

    On Moncrief on NEwstalk now

Next we'll all be deep frying mars bars or something stupid like that :)
