"Check parking brake" message

    I sm getting the above message on my dash in my 04 Renault Scenic...

    Since I got battery changed this message has came on...is their any way of clearing it lads?

    the computer has probably stored a low voltage fault on the system. the car needs to be connected to a diagnostic tool
    [may have to go to a main dealer if your mechanic/garage does not have the equipment.]
    it will probably show a lot of intermittent faults,print then off,erase the faults .try the h/brake several times and retest to see if any faults reoccur.

    Pull the emergency release in the boot ( with the car in gear/wheels chocked so it doesnt roll away) . Then sit in and start it. Pull the handle on the dash to engage the handbrake. That should reset it.
