    Boardies,

we are just starting to see the first of the new TV ranges through from Samsung and LG.

I'll cover some of the LG range first as some of them interestingly feature a Freesat Satellite tuner alongside regular Saorview and Freesat HD tuners - it's ages since we have seen an LG with a satellite tuner on board - but anyone who has one of the LF7700 series will tell you just how great they actually were.

The Saorview / Freesat models start with the 32LN540 at just £349.95 / €429.99
LED, 100Hz Mci motion processing, Twin HDMI inputs, USB input, Freesat Satellite input

    There is also a 42" version of the LN540 at just £449.95 / €549.99

    Next up is the

    LG 50PN650T at just £549.95
This is the latest LG super slim Plasma with 600Hz motion processing, Freeview HD, Freesat Satellite input, Twin HDMI inputs, USB (Video enabled) , Swivel stand, toughened glass screen (great for kids & parties!!)

Next is the LA690V - These come in 42/ 47 /55 inch flavours priced as follows:
    42LA690V - £999.95 / €1199.99
    47LA690 - £1199.95 / €1449.99
    55LA690 - £1599.95 / €1929.99

The LA690 are really full feature units with LED,Mci Motion processing New Magic Remote included , DLNA certified, Passive 3D, Dual Core processors, they are Smart TV's (very smart actually!), Freeview HD, Freesat Tuners, Full Web Browsers, with Built in Wi-Fi (and there's lots more!)

The LA740 series adds 800Hz Mci motion processing at a small price premium:
    42LA740V - £1099.95 / €1299.99
    47LA740V - £1399.95 / €1699.99
    55LA740V - £1799.95 / €2149.99

We have all of these available from stock now - either locally in Belfast or from our main warehouse - we are gradually trying to squeeze them out on display in-store and what we have out so far - looks really good!

As ever if you would like to order or a quote for deliver anywhere countrywide - just drop us a PM or a line to sales@richersounds.ie and we will do our very best to assist,

    Thanks as ever,

    ATVB,

    Hi Cursai,

Thanks for getting in touch, and apologies about the delay in getting back to you.

Our warehouse have a few of these left.  I could try and get you one in to the Belfast store.  The only thing is they're an in-store only purchase so would need to be collected here in Belfast.

Let me know what you think.

    Hi White.

I don't believe they have made it onto LG TV's as yet.

I know they got an agreement with Samsung and most Samsung models have it as an option but LG will need to work with RTE to have the software re-programmed to enable it.

It may be an idea to see if you can get any sensible info from LG or RTE on the issue as it's something that could literally be switched on overnight.

Sorry I can't help any further.

    Hi Cursai.

Unfortunately at the previous price of £449.95 we could not ship the screen as it was an in-store only purchase.

The price has now gone up to £499.95 on our website and became available to ship at a cost £40.

So its NOW deliverable? Would save me more than the shipping in diesel or is it £40 shipping on top of the £499 pricetag?

Maybe im mis interpreting. Is the in-store collection price still the same at 449. The website for ordering tells me even though im outside the uk but as i'm a first time user of the site i can get the standard delivery charge of £0 which would keep it at 499(delivery included). Whats the £40 pertaining to.

    Sorry if thats confusing.

Hi there, sorry just following up on this for you.

The current price of the TV is £499.95. This is in-tore and on the website. The UK website link that you posted says that if you are not within the UK, they cannot deliver. If you are a first-time purchaser then they have to ship to the billing address. This relates to customers living in the UK.

We can have the TV arranged to come into the Belfast store for collection at £499.95 or we can arrange delivery of that screen for £39.95 which would be directly to you.

I hope this explains and I haven't picked you up incorrectly but let me know if I haven't made any sense !

no that's a perfect explanation. the uk delivery thing just through me off. although i think ill wait for a sale or new deals, i can get it for forty euro more in other local retailers. Dont see anything else comparable to this tv at this price at the moment though.
Will keep my eye on the richersounds website and thread.
