Decided against Castymartyr went through midelton and then north found some cool roads although I got very lost. Thankful for the nav on my iPhone. did some good hill climbing which I've not done before so it was a good ride. shame my time was slow cos I kept stopping to figure out where I was. did 50km tho so not a bad day. some of the roads were brutal i must say but found one along a river with a nice gradual climb which was amazing, no traffic and out of the wind it was awesome. Its north out of mideton and the next left after the turn off for water rock unreal i highly recommend it to anyone.

If you're in that direction again I recommend heading up to Tallow on the R627 from Midleton. Roads fairly quiet and a bit beyond Dungourney (can't remember how far beyond) you get some nice scenery.
