Hey, so first ever post. (be nice)

Im doing a level 5 fetac course and hoping to do science for next year at maybe UCD. So on there website it says I need to get 5 distinctions to qualify.
Ok cool so then it says last year all qualified applicants where given a place GREAT :) So hopefully If I get my 5 distinctions then ill get a place ?
Now ! there is only 20 places up for grabs :/ -- so im trying to work out my likely hood of getting a spot :)

My class started with around 20 people at the start of the year and we have only about 5 regular students now.

My question is, is this the same with other CASLT courses around ireland ? Im just trying to work out how much competition I have :)

It does seem too good to be true, I mean I didnt get the 500 points I need last year and I put so much work in ... this year Iv been doing next to nothing and getting distinctions ? whats the deal ? Why so big a difference ?

Anyway Im just trying to find people in the same boat as me ?
